David Paich
David is the son of orchestra leader Marty Paich, a jazz musician, composer, and arranger who was musical director for TV show’s like The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, and The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour
He was a session musician on Micheal Jackson’s 1983 breakthrough THRILLER album and was a touring musician with Jackson in the 80’s as well
He also toured extensively with Boz Scaggs in the 1970’s co-writing the hits “Lowdown’ and “Lido shuffle” with him.
He joined TOTO in 1977, and was with them until 2004, co-writing and performing on their many hits
A prolific songwriter and arranger, David has written songs and composed arrangements for dozens of top recording artists
