Bobby Whitlock
Born and raised in Memphin, TN, Bobby played with R&B acts Sam and Dave, and Booker T. and the MG’s among others
He joined blue-rock act Delaney and Bonnie in 1968, with Eric Clapton on guitar
Bobby played on George Harrison’s triple album “All Things Must Pass” (produced by Phil Spector), which Bobby described as “Spectacular in every way”
He released 4 solo albums in the 1970’s, did session work with Eric Clapton, Dr. John, and The Rolling Stones and then retired from music for several years
He returned to music in 1999 to play with Coco Carmel, his wife
Whitlock wrote his memoirs in a book called “A Rock and Roll Autobiography” in 2010
