Paul started his music career as musical director for the Toronto production of Godspell

Member of the house band of Saturday Night Live from 1975-1980

Played keyboards as a member of The Honeydrippers, fronted by ex-Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant. The one and only album produced a #1 hit on the adult contemporary chart called “Sea Of Love”

Was keyboardist and musical director of “Late Night With David Letterman” from ’82-93, and in the same role duringThe Late Show With David Letterman from ’93-’15

Has served as director and producer of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremonies since it’s inception in 1986

Co-wrote “It’s Raining Men” with Paul Jabarra which was a #1 hit for The Weather Girls
